St. Mark's Anglican Church
Hickory, North Carolina

In recent years, people of all the major denominations, in ever increasing numbers, have been leaving their churches because they believe their churches have strayed from traditional, biblically-based values, under the guise of “inclusivity”.

If you are one of those searching for a return to real values, St. Mark’s Anglican Church may offer what you are looking for. We worship with a historic Anglican liturgy, which bears witness to the faith and practice of the Church of England, particularly concerning apostolic order and matrimony.

We believe that everything necessary for salvation is found in the Holy Bible, and that the scripture contained therein is inspired by God, and is infallible.

We presently hold services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and, using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, worship in the ground floor chapel of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, located at 629 8th Street NE in Hickory, across from the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University.

We invite you to worship with us. We believe that we offer a lifeboat to all those who are jumping off the ships of major denominations, and are floundering in the tossed seas, looking for rescue.

Yours in the faith of Jesus Christ,

Rev. Dr. Henry B. Patterson
